Concussion – e-learning courses

Concussion is an invisible brain injury that cannot be seen by an x-ray, MRI, or CT scan. Coaches, teachers, parents, teammates and medical professionals cannot diagnose concussed players just by looking at them. These online e-learning courses on concussion gives players, parents, and educators the tools and resources they need to prevent, recognize, and manage concussion, as part of Parachute’s goal to build awareness and influence behaviour.

The five courses featured as part of this e-learning series include:

1. Concussion Awareness for Elementary and High School Teachers

2. Concussion Awareness for Parents

3. Concussion Awareness for Players

4. Introduction to Child Injury Prevention

5. Making Head Way – Concussion training for Coaches provided by the Coaching Association of Canada.
